Its been a wee while since I updated on Isla my foster Galga , well guess what yes I failed ! Bella now has a Galga buddy who is here to stay. The great news is after her month os injections her blood tests were all negative , she needs a further check the beginning of November and hopefully all will be ok. She is looking great and settling really well. Recall is 95% there now and she will sit and down on command. She is really food orientated so that makes training a tad easier. She is starting Agilty in October as she is such an energic lively girly I tihnk she may enjoy it. Here are some recent pictures , she has taken to cooling off on the first step of the pool and is enjoying chilling with Bella on the terrace now the sting has gone out of the sun as we approach Autumn.

What a change in her, she is looking really chilled out there.
Nevermind you have 'failed' what a way to be a 'failure'

Tom, I've come in late of this lovely story because I've been away, but it has gladdened my heart to know that the loss of your beloved Tom has been somewhat eased by the noble diversion of your attention to helping another hound - Tom would be proud of you! Galga looks a different dog - clearly you are a very gifted dog handler and whether or not you keep her, you have done good to say the least. Do hope you do keep her though - she looks so chilled and happy now!

Thanks Kaz and Gnasher, I think she is here to stay she has settled well with us and I dont think it would be the right thing to move her on now , I thought it through long and hard as its really a ten year committment at least but she is worth it
