Before I was made redundant, I got:
25 days
8 Bank Hols/Statutory
6 closure days - 3 at easter and 3 at christmas - when the Uni completely shut down over these periods.

When I get a new job, I'm not expecting to get anything as generous...

None being a housewife you never stop not even for a holiday. Always something to do

On the plus side I dictate my working hours and when I take a break and wouldn't want it any other way.

I get 29 days plus bank holidays but have to take them as lieu days usually as work in a shop. My holidays increased the longer I worked there but won't increase any more now.
