Dog thinning scissors, do I need single or double ones? Harley is a Golden Retriever.

great info and pics how to groom yourself - i would personaly use a one sided thinning scissors but thats what i prefer

If it's bulk you want to remove, use the scissors upwards under the coat, and double sided are best for this. Also double sided are more forgiving

Thanks for all your help and advice, the websites given with instructions are great and all your advice with tools etc. I have now bought some great tools and just waiting for them to arrive.

I will come back and do a post with a before and after photo after the cut/trim has been done.
