Mine get a garlic capsule a day to, primarily prevent fleas but also because of the supposed benefits to the immune system etc.

My dogs have never had fleas but, 2 summers ago, they had quite a few ticks. Last year I started giving them the garlic capsules and they never had a single tick. I stopped over the winter but i've started giving them the capsules again as the weather gets milder.

I smear garlic paste onto raw liver then zap it in the microwave for training treats, my lot love em
