Just had a phone call from Helen..Helen54

She is having probs with her internet connection, so I said I would put up her thread for her.

She took Zena for her early morning walk and threw the ball maybe 2 or three times and Zena was running round, being Zena as per normal.

Helen was in the middle of a field in the middle of nowhere when Zena just stopped, her breathing became rapid and she was drooling, then she just collapsed, she lay on her side and wouldn't or couldn't get up. Helen sat beside her and checked her gums and they were white.

Poor Helen thought she was dying she tried to get her up but she couldn't ...she couldn't get hold of Dave coz his mobile was dead.
So she just sat there, what else could she do? She finally saw another woman out with her dog and they managed to get Zena back to the car.

She just got back from the vets and the vet was worried about her heart as it was a bit fast. So the vet wants her to see a heart specialist. The vet actually said "I think they will find something interesting" what a weird thing to say to Helen.
Anyway will keep you posted.

xx

Oh that is awful, poor Helena must be in shock. I do hope that it was a one off for Zena and hope tests that she will get prove that there is nothing seriously wrong. Helena does not deserve that, nor does the lovely Zena.

Please tell Helena I am thinking of her and sending Zena healing thoughts as well. Will say a wee prayer for Zena.

Many thanks.
