Somebody from the newfie's told me this yesterday at crufts, but i have no more info than what is being said on here. All i was told was that it dropped down and died.

How very very tragic for all concerned.

but thats just it maybe its me but a 2 yr old dog in any breed doesn't just drop down dead.

I have heard of several young male mastiff dying in their sleep without any signs of being ill. However, this does sound rather suspicious.
