Teagan and I are back now....

The vets were unable to remove the lump due to the place it is.
They have taken a biopsy and dressed it.

If the biopsy come back bad....Teagan will have to have her toe off.
If the biopsy comes back ok, then they will leave the lump, as long as it doesn't bother Teagan.

They said it will be slow to heal, so needs the bandage needs changing frequently.
Teagan needs it changing on Monday - hopefully this will be done when we go to Liverpool, as we have an appointment.

Will post later, have to go write my notice letter
Will post piccies later too.

What a nuisance Hevvur as if one bad leg isn't enough..poor old Teagan. Perhaps as the other leg heals it will put less pressure on the one with the lump giving it chance to heal

This is where Teagan flopped when we got home.
Her right leg is still bandaged and has a splint.

Well, I have had a phonecall from our vets this morning.
Some good news at last!

When they did the biopsy, she took as much of the lump away as she could.

They have had the lab results back today, and the lump was something called a Histoma.....(there was more after Histoma, but I can't remember!).

It is a benign lump, and usually they don't grow back!!

Also, when analysing the lump, there was 'normal' tissue surrounding the end of it (the end that was attatched to Teagans foot), which means the vets got *all* the lump, and there is no histoma left!!
