Have a great time Gems, I have booked ours for the 12th November (when the kennels close) in Grasmere in the Lake district. We can both flood DW with piccies!

Thanks Nae,
Dawn: that sounds lovely, yep lots of photos!
I love going away in the winter, lots of walks in the rain , then coming back and drying off in front of an open fire , bliss!

Ooooooooooooh lovely, a nice winter break. We are hoping to do the same - with everything this year we never had a holiday, so Oct/Nov in Wales looks about right for us.

LS IF you coming to Wales you best make sure if it's South Wales you came and visit me

We are gonna try and make it down to Devon/Cornwal way next year for our hols. All depends on how things go, moneywise and that

Still not sorted! We had a week at a place in Aberdaron last Easter but they are booked (and a bit pricey but were really special!) other than two weeks in November.

Which is best, weather wise? November or December? I don't mind some rain but in Aberdaron there are some lovely cliff walks and it would be a shame not to be able to do them.
