Recycling

Does anyone recycle? There is a programme on BBC2 about recycling and it makes me think I should be recycling.

So what if anything does anyone recycle?

Stewart what do you recycle?

bottles, plastic, paper the things I could think of and I imagine it would reduce your rubbish bags.

We recycle.
The council provide us with boxes and bags - bags for paper, and boxes for cardboard, tins/cans, glass.
We alsohave brown wheelie binsw for garden waste - which the council remove to re-cycle into compost or something.

EDIT: I used to have 2 rubbish bags a week, now I only have one since starting re-cycling

See B'ham city council do nothing for recycling - so I figure I will give it a go.

I don't know if it's the same all over the country but we have different bins now

one for most rubbish
one for plastic bottles
one for paper
and one for garden waste

i also take bottles to a bottle bank
and i'm pretty strict about leaving the elecric appliances on

Yes there are the big recycling centres in the supermarkets etc but nothing provided by the council looks like I will have to work my own out - and make sure I don't get something too big that I can't lift it when full.

Erm - glass, aluminium, paper, magazines. Plastic carrier bags I either use as bin bags or give back to the supermarket for recycling.
