Ear Piercings

Ok, I've been thinking of getting my ears pierced. I don't even have my lobes done Eventually I'd like to have 2 in the lobe area, one slightly above the normal lobe area, one in the normal place. I like the "idea" of a tragus or an upper cartilege piercing, but 1) I'm a wuss when it comes to pain (but I will have my tattoo!! ) , 2) don't think me mum would be too pleased and 3) In the eventual work I want to get into (training, behaviourist, groomer, small breeder, professional conformational handler) excessive piercings will not be helpful to people perception of me.

But my question is, does it hurt bad? And would you have more?

And those of you who do have tattoos, did that hurt very very badly? And was it over fast? Compared to the size I mean?

Ive got my ears pierced and it didnt hurt. But i would only have it do one other time as i personally dont like the ears pierced more twice.

had my lobes done when i was a kid- didnt hurt a bit kate
Had the very top of my ear done twice and it hurt like hell

Also have my belly button done- didnt hurt a bit
and had my nose done years ago and that never hurt either (although I dont have it done anymore)

I used to have 5 piercings in each ear. Only the top ones hurt.

I've got my lobes done...no problem .Got 2 other piercings too(not saying where! ) and oh boy it hurt!!!!!!!!I nearly passed out

Kate Had my ears done years ago with a cork and needle didn' hurt a bit but fainted with all the blood Ask Hevvur she has lots of piercings go look at her site. My son had some in the ears they were great, I liked the eybrow one best but it wouldn't heal very well.

I have one ear done 4 times and one done 2 times, but let them all close now. I had my nose done to and let that close. My eldest daughter has her upper lip done and her tongue.

and my ears hurt the most
my tattoos didn,t hurt at all and i have 5 of them

I had my first 2 (one in each ear) done at the age of 8, it hurt like h**l from what I remember.

Then I made 2 more (2 in each ear), so I had 3 in each ear, I made them myself.

I had my bellybutton pierced, it didnt hurt,, but it wouldnt heal, so I had to take it out.

I really really want one in the eyebrow, but the guy who did my bellybutton told me its one of the erotic spots, so it hurt pretty bad (he had 2 himself).

My tattoo...... Well it took 50 minutes, it only hurt the first few minutes, then it was like the skin got numbed, and it didnt really hurt anymore. I'm still thinking about having 1 or 2 more (have 2 I cant decide between, so will prob get them both )
