Leftover veggies

Any problems with feeding left over cooked veggies to dogs? e.g. broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, swede, carrots, etc.

BTW she's skinny lab (10 months) so no problem with her weight.

None whatsoever, providing they haven't been cooked with a lot of salt.

I cook veggies without adding salt especially for my dogs and mix them with whatever salted veggies have been leftover from the family meal.

Def no problems as long as you havent cooked them with loads of salt. Mine adore their veggies.

Good, I would have assumed so but assumption is the mother of all mess ups!

All our veg is steamed, no salt, some cauliflower which was destined for the compost is currently in the steamer.

My little min pin loves veg. Esp. carrots and brocolli (she adores the brocolli stalks - I only cook them lightly not until they go soft.)

Mine often have leftovers - not that often though, as we don't tend to leave much.....

Always give him leftovers. Also I make him "dog stew" which is low fat mince of any kind or liver cut into small bits cooked in water along with a few handfuls of frozen mixed veg. He gets a good spoonful of this with his kibble each meal. Loves it!
