That's absolutely fantastic news Lynne
It will be a waiting game now, as Ben will have to have so much rest so he can start to heal. Wait till you get him home, you'll have a sheet of physio stuff to do as long as your arm.
If I were you, I would start searching in your home area for an animal physio so you can go there if the hospital where Ben is now is a good distance from you. Chestergates were happy to refer me to a local physio so I didn't have to do the long journey each week. You could give your hospital the name of the physio you find and they will say if he/she is up to scratch......I got the impression that if Chestergates didn't rate my physio, they wouldn't refer to her.(which is good). If you look in the small print of your pet insurance it tells you what qualifications to look for in a physio.
Anyways, again, I am sooo pleased for you.

Thanks everyone I don't have any more updates and won't till tomorrow but just wanted to thank you all for your support and wishes.

Gill it took Ben 1 hour 45mins to getto the hospital on a quiet bank holiday so it'd prob be 3 and half 4 hour round trip, not that that is a prob if thats what it takes we will happily do it whenever necessary.

But I will definitely have a look around for physio - thanks for that, I have found an approved hydrotherapy place about 2 hours round trip away (not that I am counting my chickens before they have hatched I just want to be prepared!)

Stuart is definitely going to go and see him on either Friday or Sunday and I will decide if i will go based on what vet says.

Stuart is very calm and laid back and as he doesnt actually live with me(though does spend a geat deal of time here) Ben is used to him coming and going so hopefully it wouldnt stress him as much as me, IMO.

Thanks again xx
