Food for Rescue dogs (Lancashire)

I own a pet shop, and we have a bin for customers to put bags of food in for rescue dogs.

I have a bin liner full of various dog foods and treats. Free to rescue, but needs collecting.

I'm located in Kirkham, Preston (Lancs). Or can be collected on an evening from Leyland, Lancs.

Anyone?

(p.s. didn't want to hide this post away in the rescue section, as I know this section is viewed a lot!)

I know Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary in Lancs desperately need food and medicines as they have a lot of old dogs there. I donated Tawney's stroke medication and food to them after she died. I am sure they would arrange some sort of pick up from you if you contacted them. They were extremely grateful for the stuff I sent over to them anyway.

Good for you - it is an excellent idea. The pet shop I use collect food for rescued cats, as does one of our local supermarkets, from time to time! Must ask the pet shop if they could do the same for rescue dogs!

Well done.
