My pup has loose motions and I'm worried !!

Hi, i have a month old Tibetan mastiff pup. She's experiencing diarrhea for the past 3 days. She's defecating 3 times a day. She active and has not lost appetite. We feed her cow's milk. When medicated she doesn't pass loose stool. But a few days after we stop the medication the same problem occurs. She also seem to have pin-worms. What could be the possible reasons? And what measures should we take?

Welcome to Dogsey
What else does she eat?
Many dogs are intolerant to milk, maybe this is the problem

If you are still weaning your pup (I notice you say 1 month old) go to the vets and get some special formula milk for her. Dogs have different nutritional needs to cows so she needs milk that is specially formulated for puppies.

Yah I'm planning on visiting the vet first thing in the morning...I just wanted to make sure that this is because of indigestion and not because she might have contracted some disease maybe...I'm really worried about that...!!!

Definitely get the vet to look at her, as its always a worry when puppies have upset tummies. Do make sure she is still drinking plenty of water as they can go downhill very quickly from dehydration.

Also the vet should be able to give her something for worms.

Good luck and let us know how you get on tomorrow.
