I vote Border Terrier simply because I couldn't cope with a Mal's needs at all.

Chalk up another for the Border Terrier....

I do not think I could cope with the grooming of the Mal...the one that comes training and is blowing his coat at the moment is driving me mad and I only see him once a week!

Border for me. Malamutes are a stunning breed but I firmly believe that they should be left in an environment where they can do their job and lead the kind of life their were bred for.

as the owner or a border terriorist cross, it would have to be the border. but malamutes are stunning dogs and it would be a very close second. just a border would suit us more.

it's a tough one for me...I think Mals are beautiful, but wouldn't like a dog that I had to keep on a lead...Borders are cool - but handstripping....

I would definitely say Malamute. I doubt I will ever be in the position to actually have one but out of the 2 thats which I would choose I love their spirit and their strength (I do also like the spirit of the Border too though ) Having been to a couple of sled dog rallys now the working Mal is just stunning though I prefer thr longer haired ones which I believe is a fault???
But yes a Mal would win for me

I have only known one Malamute (not great for this weather here but we have cold areas where they would suit well) the one I knew was bitey, unpredictable (owner was a numpty though so I don't hold it against the breed), and hair loss well I would be there for a month brushing one.
My answer is border terrier not due to a size issue but a hairy one
aw, dont worry lol, i had no idea what a bull arab was although now i have seen jed i know they are beautiful looking dogs
