Lovely gentle old Ben

This is Ben I picked him up last Friday night. I went on my own as OH was working and was shocked as he is huge. Apparently it a marriage break up and he took her to court to get Ben as she was going to PTS as he is 11 coming up 12. Although in his bits bag found a weird letter from ex-wife saying different but anyway he legally ours now.
I took him to Yvonne one of our foster Mums who already has 4 rescues she has fostered and kept.
She fell in love instantly and knew in 48 hours he was staying.
He howled 1st night which isnt surprising as has been with his owner nearly 12 years but has now settled and we all love him to bits.
He is adorable so big and so gentle, my friends springer had a few snarls but he didnt bat an eyelid he is a true gent.

After 48 hours Yvonne had decided he could spend his last days at hers and he settled so well she didnt have the heart to move him on.

It's lovely rehoming oldies. I got my last dog when he was ten and i have him for another ten years. Young dogs cen be characters, but there is something great about seeing a rescued oldies character gradually come out.
