And now they are firing ads at you based on your web surfing history, it's becomming very sinister IMO (of course I read Orwells 1984 at a very young age and I suppose I have been influenced by his writing.)

It's not that I object to change, but it's the pace of change that is worrying, tradition gives some sort of 'normality' whereas much of the new trends seem to be based on the money and possesions mantra and will never become a tradition.
