Brownies REALLY rainy day...

The last one was Brownies rainy day, but today the was SO much rain!

It's too bad he didn't want to go in the yard much, I mainly got porch photos...

Yes, he loves to swim, but water pouring down on his head is another thing. There were lots of flood watches and warnings. It rained all day!

Morning MJ. Now I will never have any photos of Bella in the rain because I would not be able to manouevre with camera and managing to stop her dragging me straight back inside! She HATES rain. Does the about turn as soon as we get outside the door.

I am unable to get a lot of rain photos (despite my love for them) because Brownie does not like going out in the rain that much. He goes out for a bit, then jets back on the porch. Thankfully I don't have to leash him or I'm sure he'd yank and pull me back onto the porch as well lol. It's funny how they love to swim, but then baths and rain are just annoying to them. In heavy rain and wind, its hard to take photos because the water can damage your camera as well.

Yes I find that quite puzzling too - I cannot keep her out of the water when we are near any - she doesn't hesitate or break her stride, she walks down to the shore and just keeps going! And she loves being squirted with water and will chase about in it if I am sloshing it around the verandah and she LOVES being showered!

Just hates going out in the rain! Cements her paws to the ground holds fast and looks at me as if to say ARE YOU CRAZY?

I wondered if it was something to do with her not being able to 'see where it is coming from'? Mind you, if I spend too much time trying to fathom out what goes on in her brain I will end up as daft as she is!

Those are great photos, I love the expression in the first photo - that's priceless.

My Loki hates the rain as well and it takes over an hour o dry her!

Thanks everyone for the wonderful comments. He hates the rain, but he LOVES having his picture taken, even if hes sopping wet and the lens has droplets all over it.

Can you blame him for not wanting to go out in the rain. Very sensible Brownie.
