Fishing hook in ear.

Yesterday whilst out walking in the Peak District a fly fisherman managed to catch Clouds ear,as she walked past him on a narrow path. It went straight through her ear and she panicked and started to run toward me. The silly man, decided to try to "reel" her in. Luckily I managed to stop Clouds advance toward me, told the man to drop the rod and no real damage was done apart from a small hook sized hole.

The hook was later removed by a vet. Cloud is fine.

But I have to say I hadn't even really thought about the danger of fishermen before. I just kind of assumed that in such a public place they would consider carefully where and when to dangle their hook! Not so it seems.

Thankfully it was only her ear, not her eye! Or indeed a passing child! Take care around fishermen my friends! dx

Hope he paid the vet's bill!

Hugs to Clouds, sounds like she was a very good girl about it.

How traumatic. Thank goodness Cloud is okay. Flame once got a discarded fishhook embedded in her leg Thankfully she was very patient while I disentangled the line and took the hook out.
