Makes you question the whole ethos regarding 'direct' business between United and Liverpool.

United win the case in terms of their 'refusal' to sell him to Liverpool but would no doubt accept a lower bid to sell him to another club knowing full well it's a stepping stone to Liverpool.

Berbatovs agent has said we are in talks with spurs over signing him, we have said we have not made a bid. We will soon see who is telling the truth depending if he plays on sunday.

would be a good signing, but I cant see it happening. I think he wants to leave and this is a way to get clubs to bid, that or he is hankering for a new deal
