Thanks I'm so pleased. Only a couple of grumbles but not even a bark.

Sadly she did get in to a fight with a cute little bishon who came over and got a bit food guardy at K, and she also got snapped at by a shar pei who resides under the next desk!
Neither were initiated by Kestral though, she just needs to introduce herself slowly!

I will try and take her in for an hour when I have a bit of time off in September. Certainly not going to rush in to it, or even necessarily take her long term..

Well done Kestral!

Kiki is doing fab - today was a huge milestone with no anxious wandering/pacing at all Just moving from one sleeping spot to another (and a couple of trips to the water bowl). She was a whole lot calmer when I got home too, she's been a bit manic even if OH has been home but it's been less and less extreme, today I just got a brief hello before she wandered off out into the garden to play with Casper.

Well done everyone!

How cool that you're allowed to take your dogs to work!
Is anyone at your workplace allowed to take their dog? Limited on size/amount of dogs? How does it work? Sorry for all the questions but I'm really curious how it actually works.

Was really pleased with Hocus at agility on Wednesday, he isn't doing a huge amount with still only being young but contacts were fab and he did everything I asked. Need to just reinforce his waits while very exciting things are going on as there was a little bum shuffling

My instructor held him while I went to the other end of the weaves and he screamed his head off and nearly yanked her over
Her comment was he is looking good, very strong and a big mummies boy!

Aww well done to Hocus! He'll be ace by the time he's old enough then!

Yep anyone can take their dog to work providing they are well enough behaved (which is where I'm not sure about Kestral ) I also have a fish tank on my desk and my neigbour has geckos. The pet team have snakes and all sorts
I dont think there's a size limit but the shar pei is the biggest that generally comes in although have seen a GSD (and 2 leonbergers for a photo shoot!)
The dogs are generally tethered to the desks although sometimes have a crazy shoot around the office. Most of them just play with toys, lie down and sleep and taste test! It is a great place to work

That sounds so much fun! How does anyone get any work done?!
Definitely a job environment I would like to be in.

I came on this thread so see if I could find a date for Kiki's last barking day..the fact that I couldn't remember is a milestone itself I think, and it looks like we were bark-free since at least around the 6th, perhaps even longer. Go Kiki Not completely cured, leaving her for 5 minutes without a Kong to drop OH down the pub did result in a little bit of whining but still no barking!

Cain went on a socialisation dog walk today. It was all on lead, as they were all problem dogs so no direct interaction, just strolling together in a group, focusing on keeping calm. It went really well, Cain didn't react once He is so much better if he walks with a dog, it's the ones who spring out of nowhere that he takes issue with!
