I think it's awful, no respect for the dog at all!!!! Or themselves thinking about it:smt021 Dogs are not toys if you want a panda go buy a cuddly one!!!! I can't getr over that. :smt084

I recall seeing clips of a few dogs that have been done up to look like pandas in Japan or China ages ago. If you have a look on the likes of Youtube.com you'll probably find them.

Hmm...I'm with muddiwarx (and see, I couldn't stay away )

The dog doesn't look bothered in the slightest, assuming the paint didn't harm the dog's skin and the dog wasn't bothered by being painted (lets face it chows aren't exactly highly strung!) I can't really see the issue... dogs don't see things the same way as us and he probably just enjoyed the attention. (If they had a similar sense of dignity to us, why on Earth would they do some of the things they do?)

Personally it doesn't float my boat, and I think this would've been a good way, if thought out right of pointing out the plight of pandas but if the dog's not bothered by it, why should we be?

Dont you reckon most men are like pandas (eats,shoots and leaves).Cant for the love of me think why this daft a***hole had to do this.I am livid about it because they would have to have used bleaching agents to get the white,never mind the other dye arrrrgh,fuds.
