Straightforward Sunday 13th August 2023

Morning all. Yep I hope you all have a straightforward Sunday. I didn't watch all of Casino Royale in the end because when it got to the bit where they were going to torture James Bond and probably his side kick I stopped watching. I then went to bed and read but couldn't settle so watched the last few mins of it later and then gave up as they were just shooting at each other. Amazing what film makers make, especially as it is happening in other countries today. Anyway have a good day today everyone. Looks like it might rain.

Good morning Brenda

Never really got into James Bond.

It is raining here albeit gently. I am enjoying reading my book "The girl in the Tower"
Out for lunch later maybe see how I feel.

Have a great day everyone

Good morning Brenda and Kazz

Enjoy your day whater you do Brenda

Hope you go out to lunch Kazz

Nice morning here but with a few ominous clouds that keep looming. Teazle walked and washing blowing nicely on the line. Have cleaned and polished the stair rail which is natural wood. Nothing else planned except the ironing and lunch

Take care everyone

Good afternoon brenda, Kazz, Sue and anyone else who follows.
Had a lovely afternoon at Mark and Lauren's yesterday for Freya's party.
Brewster was very good for Bev.

Michael has left for the airport he was catching the 12.20 train to Peterborough then change at Kings cross and then onto Gatwick airport.
All of a sudden it was I think I need to leave now as the trains are playing up.
So off we rushed with Brewster in the buggy who had a little walk on the park on the way back.
He won't land in Madrid till midnight but he hates having to panic and he will find a nice coffee shop and get something to eat.
He didn't want breakfast today he said he ate too much yesterday.
A few tears as we left the platform I still find it hard to think of him as 38 and that he lives a few thousand miles away and can manage perfectly well without his mum.
Plus he has and still does travel the world with or without Maca.

brenda any films today ?
Kazz hope you enjoyed lunch if you decide to go out.
Sue apart from the jobs you have done, I hope you enjoy the rest of the day at a leisurely pace.

Good afternoon all

Overcast and cool but not a bad morning out

Camera back in and Gary talking again. Don't know if that's a good or bad thing If I can get him to agree, I'm going to ring Adult Social Care to arrange carers. I've been debating for a long time now, but with this latest blow up, I think I am now on the brink of burning out

The biggest problem is that when Gary blows up, it inevitably leads to Dave and me rowing so it's a doublt whammy

Yep two films on ITV2. Both in the Fantastic Beast series. There is another Bond but not sure. The book I am reading is, for me, very good so the film's might take a back seat. The book is called Meet Me at Pebble Beach. Off now for a quick wander before it rains again. Have a good afternoon peeps.

I can't get into the Fantastic Beast films even though I love Harry Potter. Fantastic Beasts to me is a very poor imitation
