That appalls me! I agree that I'm ashamed to be a human being. Such lovely little things too. Thank God they've been found. i hope they find really happy homes.

We're by Newburgh and Crossgates is just down the road.

So sad as there's no shortage of fine places to drop these little fellas off.

There's a rescue kennels just up the road from Crossgates, that's where I got Lana. It's only a £5 taxi ride if you don't have a car so really no reason at all to dump them.

There are also police stations. I live across from one and can hear the stray dogs barking. First time I heard it thought someone had left a dog tied up outside the shops so went and investigated but then realised the police station had a dog pound and that's where the barking was coming from.

It's terrible having to listen to them, appears to be quite a few over each weekend although it was quiet the last few days. I think if I won the lottery I would be rushing over every night to ask if I could take them in
