Been Strawberry Picking

Popped up to our local PYO farm this morning and picked some lovely juicy strawberries for Charly and I.
Mmmm can't beat freshly picked strawberries and luckily they didn't weigh me on the way in and again on the way out

we went last year and took the kids it was great athou i kept tating them first

LOL, yeah i find myself eating most of them before we get them home!

Oh no I've come home with a full untouched punnet. I ate so many while I was out amongst them picking I couldn't squeeze another one in

We will have to go PYO, I went a lot as a child and my children haven't been for ages, not seen one for ages though!

My grandma used tolive right next to a PYO farm - strawberries and raspberries. I'll never forget that smell on a hot summer day, drifting up to her garden. My mum would take the dogs there every morning, and we'd have freshly picked fruit and yoghurt for breakfast every day...
