Hi Helen my son gave me a laptop for Christmas with windows 7 installed. It seems fine to me no problems here .
I am not very computer literate so am probably not using all the features to the full.

I love it. So easy that i use the features without thinking and get really mad when on other computers that dont do everything
Not seen any problems with it yet

I hate it.

My old laptop died a few weeks ago and i bought this HP jobbie which came with 7,but it isnt as user friendly as XP in my opinion.I dont like the Windows live as its not as easy to use as outlook express and i cant seem to move photos around as easy.

One thing i do like though is the sticky post it note thingy!

I don't like it, but thankfully I only have to use it at uni. Perhaps I'd like it more if I had the ability to fix some of the settings- I like all of my windows on the taskbar just one click away rather than having to click on a group first, thankyou I much prefer Ubuntu over Windows anyway though.

Devil Dogz and Steve you can switch to XP mode with win 7

I have it on all my PCs I have the ultimate edition which gives me a few extra tweeks in it. I find it really user friendly and just love the split screen you can use and the 'snipping tool' is great.

I am amazed I consider myself to be a real computer novice and find Windows Live email fantastic and easy to use, I can even edit photograph sizes as I send them.

I had XP before and can't see a lot of difference between it and W7
