Poorly young boy

Hi, my young male GP is not very well, it started Monday afternnon, he vomited some frothy liquid but was OK. Then just as I was giving him his dinner he threw up water & grass but he still wanted to eat so I gave him his dinner & no more vomiting. He was quiet yesterday morning then started drooling, just after 1pm his back legs started trembling & obviously had a lot of pain in his tum but temp was normal, so I rang the vet & he said he`d come out. By now he was trembling over. Anyway vet was convinced it was some sort of toic poisoning but we`ve got non here at all, no weed/snail/rat killer, nowt. Then he thought he could feel something hard in his abdomen so off we went for xray. There is something small there & also a sliver of what we think could be bone. So we are now waiting for him to pass whatever it is. He was too poorly to eat yesterday but has had some brown bread first thing this morning & he`s a lot better now to what he has been & he hasn`t passed anything yet but it`s such a worry!

Thanks Staffy If he`s not passed it today we`re off for another xray this evening to see were it is & whats going on. I`m shattered cos he slept next to the bed & I kept waking up to see he was alright so I`m going back to bed a bit later!!

I hope that he's been.................and is feeling better.

Could your dog have picked up something when going for a walk?

Must say I have to watch the pavement when I take Holly out as she is eagle eyed and spots everything! How many times have I had to get a bit of bone out of her mouth, b****y magpies and gulls ripping open bin bags don't help!

Nothing yet I`m afraid he doesn`t even want to go out of the house & have to coax him. But he is feeling better, still curled up when he lies down tho & he usually stretches out. He may have picked something up, someone could have thrown something over, we live in a big field sort of, with area round the house that goes by the name of *garden*
He`s raw fed Yvonne, so it could be he`s swallowed a piece of marrow bone thats broken off. I`m not 100% convinced that if thats what it is, that would cause the symptoms he had yesterday all the trembling & drooling, it really was like poisoning.
Well I`m going to try him again, only got a couple of hours to go before back to the vets...
Thanks guys
Christine
