Ollies such a good boy.

Sorry had to post this.
He has always been a very bitey mouthy puppy and hates his paws touched, have to bribe him with tripe sticks to trim the fur inbetween his pads.
Just now coming back from our walk he started limping right near the house. Checked his paws by feeling them couldn't feel anything but when he walked his paw was clenched tight. Put the lights on had a good feel and look and there was a nasty little thorn in his big pad. He mouthed my hand that was holding his paw while with the other I pulled the thorn out 3 attempts and he was so gentle I was expecting him to put quite a lot of pressure on. He has obviously worked out bite inhibition.
I am really proud of him. Sorry if this sounds mad.

well done you. That's very weird as we also had a thorn on puppy pad, but it took me a while to find out which leg he was lame on (really not good at telling which one)

Well done Ollie (and to you for all your hard work, it is evidently paying off).

You have every right to be proud

I'm sure that's made you feel very chuffed Lynn, and not an easy job either! Get a big magnifying glass for future use, I swear by them. Bless him, what a good boy

You shouldn't apologise for posting about this or say it sounds mad - sounds like progress to me:smt002

Good boy Ollie, it won't be long before he doesn't bat an eyelid at getting his tootsies touched
