A haircut disaster

When the emergency vet came to sort out Pereg's wound a couple of months ago she used my hair clippers to get to it, and they sort of got stuck after that. But I had recently bought new clippers so put them on charge overnight so I could cut my hair.

Started successfully and then the new clippers packed up. Old clippers still stuck. One stripe of hair neatly cut and the rest sticking out all over the place.

Not to worry, fished out my original [non-rechargeable] clippers and set to, only I had them on the wrong setting and am now almost bald.

Oops

Any other oops do-it-yourself hair disasters?

It could be worse, it could be the middle of winter, at least its warm enough to be bald at the moment. I hope it grows back soon!

lol. i do remember my other half begging me to bleach and dye his (already damaged) hair, despite my warnings that it was a very bad idea. after days of nagging i finally relented, did the deed and then had to watch him howl as most of it broke off and ended up in the plughole... there's nothing worse than watching a grown man cry!
