Visit from Mum

Some of you know my Mum and Step-Dad live in Bulgaria, and since they moved out there 2 years ago seeing them is not as easy as it once was!

They are in this country for a few weeks, arrived on Thursday. They came to us yesterday and are due to visit again on 20th January, a few days before they go back.

They filled us in on Rufus, the Karakachan (Bulgarian Shepherd Dog) and plans to get a female puppy one soon. They wanted to go to Pets at Home to get Rufus a rope toy and a few other bits which they can't get in Bulgaria, no need to suggest PAH more than once to me!!!

They wanted to get an electric fence and collar, but I was quite upset by this suggestion and said no way would PAH sell something so cruel. They bought some nice toys for him, a training book, some treats and a clicker training kit. Hollie got some chews and the garden birds got a big bag of peanuts!

It was good to see them, and looking forward to the 20th.
