Poor Lauryn, I am hoping that all this gets sorted out, I don't blame you for being unhappy, the poor girl has been in pain a very long time now and no one seems to be able to find out exactly whats going on with her, and then to add insult to injury they can' even keep the apppointments they made. I know what you mean Mandy about phoning in, you're supposed to let them know before they miss you, not after! You don't have private medicine as a staff perk do you at all.

No unfortunately, I think the doctor we saw today is not happy that it's been so long, he's the one we saw back in October and he said then if she's no better in 3 weeks we will do tests!! I can't believe a doctor would wait till the surgery is open before ringing in!!

Probably better if you get an appointment with him in the future, although he will doubtless be heavily booked and there will be numerous obstacles put in your way to prevent you having the doctor you want. Youngest sons gf is having dreadful problems at the moment, looking like some sort of rheumatoid arthritis, and he's got her in with a consultant on his private medicine, so it struck me you may have it with Sainsbury's as they're supposed to be a good company to work for

They are, I say I dont but as I've never looked in to it, maybe. Think hubby can pay into it, so might get him to do it if these blood test come up blank

Everything will get done a lot quicker, I was so glad I had it when they found I'd got all the back injuries, also had my hysterectomy on it and I could plan the time off and childcare whilst I was in hospital.

She doesn't drive and usually walks to work (she's a teaching assistant at a nearby junior school) and son is having to drive her over there every morning, she can hardly walk in the mornings, gets better as the day goes on, she's only in her late 20's, not good at all. Haven't really said much to him because don't want to scare him, I know he's looked it up etc though.

Hopefully with the right pain relief it might help too young to be suffering with it, as least she will get answers quicker on private medicine.

Exactly, which is why I was suggesting it for Lauryn, you need answers and a way forward sooner than you've been getting

My Oh was told that her Apple Mac Laptop hard drive has not arrived at the repairers yet so she is struggling a bit using her mobile phone. I did tell her to use my computer but seems to have the idea that I think she messes it up. i do say to her use mine but she won't
