Guess the breed(s)

I think I posted a few years ago, or possibly on another site. Basically my mums dog was a rescue pup, we met his mother who was a rottweiler, we was told his dad was an Akita but i've never really been sold on it. I think maybe an akita cross, we had a ridgeback when I was a kid and to me he looks alot more like a ridgeback x rotty, except when i have seen other ridgebackx rotties they look totally different, iv only ever seen two both unrelated. Sparky seems smaller than all of these crosses.
So any ideas? Really wish I could know for sure as would look for a cross like him again. I have some old videos on disk somewhere if that would help if i figure out how to get them on here.

This first photo is him being on lookout, his tail is down most the time other than when playing/barking at intruders


He hates beds so has his own doormat

I would have guessed Ridgeback cross too.

Ridgeback I would say is a pretty good guess!

Lab is another possibility.

I don't see the Akita personally. I would say, especially with the colouring, that ridgeback isn't far out. Either way he's very handsome!
