Wounds and dressing workshop, attended today....

Well today was my 2nd workshop I have attended with Lorraine, this was on wounds and dressings, we discussed the different types of wounds, how to clean them effectively and then how to dress them and what dressings to use.

We practiced on a piece of fillet steak

I must say I really enjoyed it, I now know how to bandage legs, ears and tails safely so as to reduce the chances of infection and to help reduce bleeding and further possible damage and distress.

I know she has a 1sta Aid day next week and various other courses coming up

If any body wants her details PM me the courses are fun and informative.....
