Apparantly strong colours suggest confidence, so I would go for a bold colour such as red or even purple. Sid has a dark suit and wears a lovely dark lilac tie with it and it looks the business!

I'd go classical dark red personally, or maybe a royal blue - it's a little more vibrant than navy - wish him luck from me xx

I know how you feel being on your all the time, Kev worked away during the week until he started this job almost 2 months ago.
Having this to focus on will make time pass easier and a little quicker for you, so not daft at all. xx

Anyway, I think a bold tie would be good.

I interview people sometimes, and I would suggest a coloured shirt and matching tie, rather than a white one!!
