Pleased you got some others to eat tw. The birds have eaten quite a few of our raspberries but plenty left for us.

Brenda, in this weeks AG magazine Bob Flowerdew made an interesting point that (allegedly) the birds often raid soft fruit more for the moisture than the flesh.

So he suggested putting water nearby so that the little devils can drink

Have absolutely no idea if it'll work but worth a try.

He also said that you can buy plastic cats and birds of prey...............the mind boggles

There is a bowl of water right next to them. The birds have a bath, eat the fruit, feed their babies then have a drink. I don't mind. Love watching them.
