Warning notice

Well it's my first winter with my big butch dyke car (partly because it's big and butch and partly because the number plate is DYC) and today, driving home from the park a warning sign came up on my little computer bit.

'Warning - Risk of Ice'

Brilliant!! I didn't know it did this!

My Picasso does that, too , and when it's 3 degrees or lower, the temperature flashes on and off constantly in the corner, which can get a bit distracting if you've only glanced at the screen to check your speed

My what posh cars you all have, . My dear old R reg Vauxhall Astra Estate doesn't have a clue about anything except stopping and starting and being steered places, which thankfully (touch wood) it seems to manage fine

My Corsa has a snow flake light up when it's 3 degrees or lower.

And i work on the theory that if the windscreen is frozen over and requires scraping then it's probably frosty!

LOL Kate - that made me giggle. Daft thing is, it let me drive to the park without telling me where I then walked over all the frosty paths, and then told me when I got back in the car that their may be ice

Sez, does your picasso do the low fuel warning too? I've got used to the fuel pump flashing at me on my display now because it's always low!
