2 year old with Leukaemia

Hi

My best friend's 2 year old daughter has recently been diagnosed with Leukaemia. The first sign that anything was wrong was a high temperature, Ella took Ruby to the hospital, the following day they were in Great Ormond Street and Ruby was diagnosed with Leukaemia.

She is currently receiving oral chemo with weekly chemo via a lumber puncture, and fortnightly bone marrow biopsies.

To help raise money, Ella and I are doing a sponsored walk with Forget Me Not Walks for Leukaemia Research. We'd be grateful if you could visit our page at: www.justgiving.com/ella_deana not necessarily to sponsor us (although that would be greatly appreciated) but to have a read and find out more about this terrible disease.

Thanks for reading.

Deana x

It's been a stressful couple of months all round. Treatment will last 2 years! I think the fact that the only sign that anything was wrong was a high temperature just shows that sadly it can happen to anyone.
