Probably not really if the dog isn't going to be shown but if I bred I would want names I liked if the dogs were going to be shown.

I'm weird about names I have to like how they look as well as how they sound

That's all fine and dandy until you send off the registration papers and the people who have put a deposit on a puppy decide they don't want it any more and it's stuck with some horrible obscure name the people who finally buy the dog haven't chosen.
