Aw Rach (hugs) ..thinking about you both, what a good job you took him back before things got too bad..have you got some honey in the house and soft food like fish/porridge/rice/egg for when he returns...his little tummy will be so sore ...

Hi all, still no 2nd phone call from vet. So we are taking it as "no news is good news" just hope were taking it right by doing this. fingers crossed. thanks for everyones support and love, love rach xx

Oh Rachel I'm so sorry to have read all this about your poor little Max. I'm wondering whether the word you are looking for is peritonitis? This is where they expose the gut to the air and it doesn't like it and gets infected? This was a major op the poor little fella had, no wonder he was feeling so ill, but hopefully this new vet you've gone to will get down to the problem straight away when he goes in. Poor little baby, I'm so sorry for you, and all the worry you've been through. Please keep us posted as to how he gets on, I've got everything crossed for you here, that he makes a good recovery and you have him home again with you.
