AWWWWWWWW thankyou all
Thanks for another I-pad there Pat!
The day is going well. Lots of cards and pressies from friends, but my very best present was the visit to the Vet just now with Zena, because I have to say, she was an absolute STAR for him today. She stood up as requested, he went behind her down on the floor, squeazing and feeling her, and she never moved an inch, she never growled, she turned around so gently at one point, and if she didn't have her muzzle on I swear she would have given him a kiss lol! Shen he finished and moved around to sit on his table, she sat like I told her to do, whilst I sat on the chair next to her, she stayed there no jumping up, no manic attempt to escape through the closed door, she was perfect! Oh bless her heart, she's learning in her old age that vets are good people, they're there to help her not to harm her, but it does help to have my old, experienced, kind vet who knows shepherds inside out I suppose. On the down side, instead of losing that 1/2 kilo he wanted her to loose, she's actually put ON 1/2 kilo, so she now has one whole kg to lose, tcht! He wants to see us in another 6 weeks just to make sure I'm continuing to starve the poor girl.
Back later, as I've got phone calls to make now, and thankyou again for all these lovely messages on my special day.
