Evening
Can say that Lauryn's sweet mice meat muffins ate very yummy indeed, smelt fantastic when she bought them home and very Christmassy
Glad to read your brother is doing well Nippy, hope you had a fantastic day with you eldest granddaughter
Sorry to hear of your friend TW, hopefully her cosultant will read the riot act to her doctor and other who should have looked after her, she's in the right place now, shame that she's had to suffer for decent care
Looking forward to getting the rest of my Christmas present shopping done, but need to wait till pay day

HARVEY,thankyou Was thinking about my dad's way of lending money to us as kids He had a little book and pencil,if you borrowed a fiver, your name and date went on the list. Can see him now licking the lead of the pencil before he started to write...bless him Anyway, after one week the five pound debt was raised to seven pounds and so on Never asked for it back, just kept his accounts up to date, made quite a tidy profit from his seven kids

Evening all - Mandy - Do hope that first line in post #51 is a typo "sweet mice meat muffins" different to say the least. How many mice per muffn - may one inquire? If they are as good as you say I'll start setting the traps right away!

Bet you did everything you could to get that money back to him before it went up! Hope your daughter knows nothing of this though otherwise it could prove expensive if you forget and she never reminds you

June - perhaps brandy soaked sultanas - brings out the best in a sweet mouse!

I was left wondering if she'd been found under a rosebush and Eileen doesn't like to say

Fear for the sanity of the Hobbit's OH when the credit card bills start rolling in come the New Year! For it truly seems she is catching on to this spending lark very quickly. If I feel the urge to spend I usually go and sit on abig boulder up at the back of the moor and wait for it to pass!!!!!

Not that I'm tight or anything June - just that money and I are old friends and we just hate to be parted.
