Comfy shoes are a must, and a strong will not to buy too much, or very deep pockets que for the loos when you first think you may need to go, don't wait untill you're desperate, take your own loo paper as you can bet your life when you get in there they will be out, if you want to sit and eat, don't do it at lunch time, you will never find a chair, last year we sat on the floor, we took our own food and drink, so can't comment of quality or price, as for parking, we went in a minibus and used my disabled badge, so we didn't have any trouble, on route we stopped of at a motorway service and the driver said he had been talking to someone who said that it was very busy up and around the NEC.

Wear comfy shooes and comfy clothes.

Food and Drink is expensive and queues can be long. Better if possible to take your own

Toilets I agree with CLMG

If you don't want to run up a huge bill don't on sale their to tempt you.

Parking like CLMG I have a disabled badge.

Have a good night's sleep the night before, cause you will be on the go all day and walk miles., and at the weekends you will most probably have to fight your way through the crowds.

Having said all that we must really enjoy it or else we would not go back year after year.

Be prepared to be tired and skint but above all be prepared to enjoy your day.
