Hi They are an ancient breed,I might be getting mixed up,but are they the ones that dont bark,,but they look amazing if you just take the head,and you see that on egyptian tombs,its really mind blowing,that they have virtualy remained the same.crystalgirl

No they don't bark Crystalgirl but they are not silent as some people think! They yodel and chortle and can scream (and do sometimes) also growl.

They are depicted on the tombs in Egypt and you can see them in some Egyptian pictures, they are the medium sized dog with the curly tail.

I will post a picture of Dottie later for anyone who is interested, her mother came straight out of the jungle and was put to an american dog.
