OMG - How sad Such a beautiful voice and such a waste

I grew up listening to her music and can remember making up dances to her more upbeat tunes

So very sad. Bobby Brown has to take the blame for her downfall firmly on his shoulders imo. He got her addicted and she struggled the rest of her life.

RIP Whitney, safe in the arms of Jesus now x

I dont think Bobby Brown can be blamed, he didnt force those drugs or alcohol down her throat. As an adult human being with morals and a conscience, Whitney Houston had a choice whether to take those drugs or not, and indeed, whether to get involved with Bobby in the first place, knowing his past.
They divorced in 2007 so who is to blame for her continuing substance abuse and demise over the past 5 years?

It was her weakness of mind which was her downfall IMO.

But still, I think she had the best voice i've ever heard and it's such a shame that she didnt manage to pick herself up.

RIP Whitney.

Always sad to hear of anyone going before their expected 'allotted lifespan' but I have to agree with Leanne here. Just as so many blamed the company Amy Winehouse kept for her early demise - as adults, we all have free CHOICE.

I have to disagree i'm afraid, I believe Bobby Brown got her hooked on the stuff, and that's why I believe the blame lies with him, but this is not the time or place for such a debate.
