MeatLoaf

So my stepdaughter went off to see MeatLoaf on Thursday night in Glasgow. She very nicely brought me back the new album.

I gave it a listen tonight, and wow, I like MeatLoaf anyway but this is really good. He has Steve Vai and Brian May on there, both excellent guitarists. Jack Black has a great 'Loaf' voice and Hugh Lawrie even appears at one point playing piano.

Excellent album, just as 'operatic' as you expect from Mr Loaf

I love Meatloaf! Saw him twice back in the 80's, absolutely fantastic!

A couple of my friends went on Thursday too.

Somebody I haven't seen live myself but I've always liked his stuff.

oooooooooooooo new album will have to check that out.

Yeah, it's excellent. Was well pleased

I had my alarm set with the CD to wake me up (taking the wee fella swimming) but decided against it when the OH came home, don't think he'd be too happy if he was woken by a very loud BOOM BOOM which is what is on the first track....you can't listen to MeatLoaf quietly...gotta be loud...
