Princess - Dead dog walking

Whilst looking at Scooby Doo images on the PC with Hannah I just happened to stumble over this animal rights article about a rescued Great Dane called Princess.

I've seen some thin dogs before but this one amazed me.

Apologies if it's been posted before as the article is from 2008

Absolutely shocking. Really don't know what to say to that.

I think the comments underneath follow on regarding what happened to the dog. I only scanned through them but I think it said somewhere that the dog passed away at a later date of cancer.

Poor girl. Seems the lump on her leg was cancer which had to be amputeted and then went to her lungs when she had to be put to sleep
Poor poor girl, I dont think I have ever seen such a starved thing

That is just horrific.

Princess was rescued in April and underwent an amputation of her leg as it was found to be cancerous. Sadly she was PTS in June due to the cancer spreading to her lungs.
