Saw the weirdest dogs...

Saw the weirdest looking dogs on the way home tonight. 2 little Lhasa Apso's which had been cut like poodles going to Crufts. Pom poms around the ankles, shaved backside and big puff balls everywhere. Anyone ever heard of this kind of cut on anything like a poodle? Poor little things looked really p****d off and were with 2 teenage girls. Fashion accessory springs to mind.

Never heard of such a thing! Poodles have that cut for a reason!

It really was one of the weirdest things I've ever seen. Wanted to go over and give the girls a slap for doing something so stupid

It actually looked like it had been well done (if you can call it that) Not something that had been done at home

OK, I prefer dogs unclipped, un-neutered, unfettered, unadorned and in good health and condition but this one puzzles me. How on earth would you clip a Lapso like a poodle the coat is totally wrong it is hard and straight not curly like the poodle. However people can present their pets to the world as they see fit, and they do, fancy collars, fancy coats, strange hair cuts, neckerchiefs & hanging toys, it may be undignified and unnecessary but it is up to the owner and cruel it is not.

Exactly, the coat is all wrong but that's what the cut was like. I don't believe I said it was cruel though just unnecessary.
