Aw Lynn. Massive hugs to both you and Gordon. The lad will do fine and by the sounds of it, he has gone to a good home.

I'm guessing very mixed emotions tonight, but keep on being busy and know you have done right not just by Brewster but by yourselves as well.

Economy 7 heating is a pain and is inefficient. No gas in the village or we'd have it in a heartbeat

My daughter knows about the heating so plies me with fleecy pyjamas,
fleece throws, fleece slippers, fleece dressing gown every Christmas bless her. Personally, I think she's getting her own back for dressing her (and her brothers) up like Mitchellin man back in the days when we had no central heating at all and often got up to ice on the insides of the windows. However did we cope?

Well Sue has her new phone, I did warn her not to use the face recognition feature because it might crack

They are a nightmare, Kelly, even more so now that they've stopped making them.

The new and ah hem 'improved' models do have night storage but also peak rate. Must cost a bomb to run. Ours do and we only work on economy 7. The two we have just bought are second hand so are the same as what we already have.

Eventually we won't be able to get the second hand ones either and then we have a very expensive decision to make.
