Oh Malka, so sorry as I only just read this whole post as too busy with my boy.. hope Pereg is ok now and hopefully no more grand seizures.. she did so well for such a long time. thinking of you and sending healing hugs. xx

She has only been on the increased dosage for two days so it is very much wait and see time. I cannot rest as every time she makes a sudden move or noise I instantly check to see if she is OK.

Thanks for thinking about Pereg. Unfortunately she had another Grand Mal last week and well and truly christened my new carpet by losing bladder and bowel control [which I ended up sitting in but luckily it has not stained. It was only the one though but I am obviously very much on seizure watch.

Apart from that she is fine and has had no reaction/side effects from the increase in her medication.

oh disaster with the carpet but I'm sure you were just happy she was o.k Think of her often and look out for news, hopefully fingers crossed she'll get a well deserved breather

Oh I am not bothered about the carpet - I have some excellent pet odour and stain-remover, and the colouring/pattern of the carpet make it difficult to see any stains in any case! But I would rather like another long sz-free streak like the last one.
