All going downhill here. Decided my day would be complete with ham egg and home cooked Cyprus chips for dinner.

Started to wash the only 2 things in the sink before the greasy stuff goes in - one glass and one plate. Gashed my right hand ring finger open on the glass! Bleeding out through the plaster and the rubber glove. But my chips are going down well!

Pat - what is the difference between Cyprus chips and other chips?

[thinks - there is a bag of chips hidden somewhere in my freezer, do I go hunt them out 'cos I really fancy some now you have brought up the subject...]

Frozen chips are the work of the devil. I will go without chips rather than eat horrible frozen chips. Or worse still 'oven' chips.

The 'thing' about Cyprus chips is they are made from the BEST POTATOES ON THE PLANET. Cyprus red village spuds.

The band aid is containing the blood. It caught me a swipe right under the nail bed so will bleed profusely even if not deep.

Wasn't so bad I couldn't hold my knife or make a CHIP BUTTY!
